5. Sharing and public content
We may share aggregated or de‑identified information publicly. We share limited data with service providers including Vercel (for analytics, performance monitoring, and hosting) under agreements that restrict their use to our instructions.
Public content:
- Community posts and profiles: Content you post to the feed, LFG listings, and your public profile information (username, display name, avatar, bio) are visible to all users and may be indexed by search engines.
- Contact information: Any contact details you include in LFG posts (Discord, Steam, Xbox, PSN, etc.) are publicly visible to all users. Share contact information at your own discretion and risk.

Be mindful of what information you share publicly. Once posted, content may be viewed, copied, or shared by others even if you later delete it from our platform.

We retain analytics data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above and then delete or aggregate it. Account data, including posts and profile information, is retained while your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable timeframe, though some content may remain in backups for a limited period. Deleted posts may remain visible in other users' caches or copies they made.
7. Your choices
- You can disable cookies in your browser; the site may still work with reduced functionality.
- Some analytics honor built‑in browser signals where supported, but Do Not Track (DNT) is not guaranteed.
- You can request deletion of any contact information you send us directly by emailing us.
- Account management: You can update your profile information, delete your account, or request data deletion by contacting us.
- Data portability: You can request a copy of your account data by emailing us.
- Privacy settings: You can control the visibility of certain profile information through your account settings.

We take reasonable measures to protect your data, but no system is completely secure. We employ:
- Automated content filtering to detect and remove inappropriate content
- Manual review systems for reported content
- Secure authentication through trusted third-party providers
- Encryption for data in transit
However, we cannot guarantee absolute security. Users are responsible for protecting their own account credentials and for the information they choose to share publicly. Any content you post publicly, including contact information, is visible to all users and accessible on the internet.
9. Third‑party sites and interactions
Our links lead to third‑party game stores that have their own privacy policies and cookies. We do not control their tracking. Review their policies before purchasing.
When you share contact information (Discord, Steam, etc.) and interact with other users outside our platform, those interactions are governed by the third-party service's privacy policies and terms. We have no control over and are not responsible for how other users or third-party platforms handle your information.
10. Children's privacy
The Service is not directed to children and is intended for a general audience.
