Players pick one of four professions and shape their character through old-school, open-ended progression: hunting monsters, training individual skills, completing more than 200 quests, and aligning with factions that unlock their own storylines and rewards. Death is punishing, the economy is player-driven, and guilds, seasonal events and PvP battles keep the shared world in motion. The game runs on several worlds with different progression rates, hosting thousands of active players every day with peaks of more than two thousand online at once. Medivia Online is developed and published by the Polish studio COMADSOFT, is free to play, and is available on Windows, Linux and macOS.
