DEMO CREATED FOR THE UBC GAME DEV CLUBS GAMEON CONFERENCE - Keep an eye for the full release at the UBC Game Dev Clubs Year End Showcase. A space strategy game.
Join a cast of main characters and their troops, and guide them to victory. Push back upon an expansive empire, freeing the worlds under their reign. The demo consists of 4 levels, the prologue of the final product. CONTROLS: - Mouse: Unit Control - Planet Select - WASD: Galaxy Map Movement - Esc: Pause Menu KNOWN BUGS: - Occasionally NPCS get glitched. You will likely have to leave the level and restart the level. - Restarting the level is glitchy, and might not properly work. If that is the case, going to the galaxy map and reselecting the level may work, else you might need to restart the program as a whole. Feedback is greatly appreciated, as the more feedback we get, the better we can create this. ABOUT US: We are one of the 10 UBC Game Dev teams for the 2020-2021 year. We are the smallest team, and are made up of entirely new to game development students. Yet despite this obstacle, we still plan on creating a strong game! OUR TEAM: Bennett: Programming - Level Creation Duy: Audio Gwen: Project Lead Jackson: Art Julia: Programming - Galaxy Map and Level Selection Matthew: Programming - Combat Systems Richard: Writing Tom: Programming - AI Behaviour Special Thanks: Koda, the UBC Game Dev club. FUTURE PLANS: This is a growing list, and is not conclusive. These are just some of the plans: - Multiple Worlds - Better Camera Control - Unit Select - Boss Encounters - Quick Warp on Galaxy Map
