Despite the change in setting, the basic story is largely identical - the world has been invaded by dragons, bringing with them a brand of poisonous flowers. As a group of survivors known as Murakamo 13, you must search through the wreckage of the various districts of Tokyo to find other refugees, kill lots of dragons, and contend with a rival group of humans known as SKY.
